New Hope Media and Consultants (NHMC) is one of the largest multi-disciplinary consultancy and project management company in Bangladesh which provides of management and consulting services in different sectors with a view to emerge as “An Integrated Approach to Development””
The company operates from its headquarters in the heart of the city Dhaka capital of Bangladesh . Its guiding principle is to provide the best services available to its clientele by tapping the most qualified specialists in the areas of its clients' needs.
The firm offers consultancy services for research and management of all projects related to the development process. Its particular areas of expertise include Social Sector Development, Environment and Infrastructure, Agriculture and rural development, energy and climate change , Human Resource Development, Health, Education, Information and Communication Technology , water resources and urban development, International Trade, Outsourcing and procurement and Economic development. In these areas, it can handle both small- and large-scale projects

Through our Environmental, Health, and Safety program, we demonstrate our commitment to conducting our business in a manner that safeguards people and sustains the environment.
New Hope contributes to local communities as a company and supports individual staff members' participation in community charities and activities. We have established the ICF International Environmental and Community Outreach (ECO Team) to coordinate our community outreach activities and support a number of charitable events year-round that fight disease, promote good health, provide food and shelter, serve the underprivileged, and protect the environment.

We are committed to good management of standards throughout our activities. Where deemed necessary by the Board, our overall sense of direction and the principles of action are set out in a specific policy document which clearly states our overall objectives and commitment to improving performance.
The policy documents demonstrate our formal commitment and particularly that of directors towards good management.
The requirement for a policy can be based on legislation, management system standards or specifications, or other applicable requirements.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY |
New Hope , a consultant to the built, natural and social environment, aims to deliver success for all stakeholders, through excellence and innovation, by the improvement of our built, natural and social environment from concept through implementation to sustainable operation.
To achieve this aim New Hope is committed to reducing its environmental impacts and to developing a culture of continuous environmental improvement through:
- The prevention of pollution potential by our actions and in the advice provided to clients.
- Compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and other requirements as applicable.
- The minimization of waste and a commitment to recovery, re-use and recycling as opposed to disposal where feasible.
- The achievement of improvements in environmental performance by working with our clients in our service delivery.
- Where appropriate encourage and monitor our suppliers and contractors in working to our environmental standards and those of our clients as a minimum.
- Setting and reviewing environmental objectives, target and performance measures on an ongoing basis.
- Maintaining pro-active communications about Environmental management and performance with all employees and other internal parties.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY |
The Directors of New Hope Media & Consultants are committed to achieving and maintaining high standards of safety, health and welfare for the employees of WYG Plc and the WYG group of companies and others who may be affected by our work activities.
It is the Directors' intention that the Group operates in such a manner as to achieve the following:
- A healthy and safe environment for employees and others affected by the Group's activities
- The prevention of accidents and ill health at work (including out-of-office, project and site based activities)
- Compliance with and correct application of relevant health & safety legislation and industry best practice
- Good standards of health & safety instruction and training to ensure competency of our staff and others, as necessary
- Consultation with our employees on all matters affecting their health & safety
- The setting of health & safety objectives and targets annually for all parts of the Company
- Allocation of sufficient resources, including finance and time, to enable the Group Policy to be implemented in full
- Regular monitoring and auditing the Group's compliance with the Policy
- The review and agreement of the Policy and future health & safety objectives and targets formally each year

We are committed to supporting and encouraging the career and professional development of our workforce. Learning and development are planned, managed and monitored through a coordinated structure led by the Business Unit Board Managing Director and supported by the Head of Learning and Development.
In addition to accredited Professional Institution training schemes we ensure that all our people have access to, and are supported in, relevant learning and development to maintain our position as a leading multi-disciplined international consultant.
It is our policy to increase participation in training and to assess each individual's needs by means of an annual learning and development review. By assisting each individual to achieve their maximum potential we aim to continue improving the high level of service provided to customers.
